The hotel, the restaurant, the physio, the colourist, the builder. If people already ask you where to go and who to call, every one of those answers belongs on your list.

It keeps working after the post is gone

A post is seen for a few days and then slips out of view. Your recommendations have a place to live, and each one is saved as a card into somebody's own book, where it stays. Nothing to repost, nothing to refresh.

Your name, your words

You write every note yourself, and we do not edit taste. Nothing appears on your list that you did not choose, and any partner pick is labelled as one, so your followers always know what they are reading.

An afternoon to make, no schedule to keep

Build your list once, send it to us, and it goes live when it is approved. No posting calendar, no deliverables, and nothing that gets in the way of what you already do elsewhere.

The note is the point. It carries the reason behind a recommendation, in your voice, and when somebody saves it into their own book, that is the measure of it.

How a curated list works.

Five steps, from your first pick to your picks travelling through other people's circles. You do the first three. Your followers do the rest.

  1. Add your picks

    Choose 10 to 12 recommendations: the places, products and people you would put your name to, each with a short note in your own words. You choose the first three that show in the preview.

  2. Send them to us

    Nothing is public until you send it and we approve it. We review every pick before it goes live, so the list that carries your name is one you are proud of.

  3. Share your link

    One permanent link to your list. Instagram bio, newsletter footer, show notes, the welcome card in a guest's room. It starts working the day your list is approved.

  4. Followers open it and save

    Someone taps your link and sees you and your first three picks. If they do not have the app yet it installs and opens on your list, and they save the ones they want to their own Lock Book.

  5. Your picks travel

    A saved pick becomes that person's recommendation, visible to the circle they share with. One audience, many circles. That is how a list grows here.

Who we are looking for

Authentic voices with taste. Influencers, writers, podcasters and publications whose recommendations are real, and carry weight with the people who follow them.

And the people behind the businesses others already turn to for advice. The hotelier, the chef, the winemaker, the salon owner, the bookseller.

The arrangement

Your list is your real recommendations: the places you would send a friend, in your own words. Paid placements are welcome too, and every one of them is labelled "Partner pick" so a follower always knows which is which. That is the law in Australia and our own standard.

A short agreement covers placement standards, disclosure and revenue share. Founding curators, the first five to ten, receive preferential terms.
